Privacy
1. Controller and scope

2. Website hosting by Cloudflare
This site is served through Cloudflare Pages. Technical connection data such as IP address, time, requested file and browser information may be processed to deliver and protect the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a working and secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Cloudflare may process data outside the EEA. The retention of technical Cloudflare data depends on the service and its settings. More information: Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
3. Cookies and embedded content
Our page code does not set analytics or marketing cookies and does not load external fonts, videos or social-media embeds. Cloudflare may use technically necessary security functions. If analytics, advertising or embeds are added later, this notice and any required consent mechanism must be updated.
4. External links and email
Google Drive (downloads), Facebook (community) and Buy Me a Coffee open only when you select their links. Their own privacy terms then apply. If you email us, we process your address and message to answer you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f), or Art. 6(1)(b) for relevant pre-contractual requests). Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the request or meet legal duties.
5. Services in optional GrowBro software
Simply visiting this website does not start these services. Depending on features enabled in the Dashboard, Weather app or Virtual Hub, other connections may be made:
- Weather: Using weather features sends search terms or location coordinates and technical connection data to Open-Meteo. Alerts may query AEMET or Meteoalarm. Open-Meteo privacy information.
- Cloudflare Quick Tunnel: Optional Virtual Hub remote access started manually. Its traffic passes through Cloudflare when used. This is separate from this website's hosting.
- Codex: Only when enabled does Virtual Hub use the host's Codex installation. Chat and project content may then be sent to OpenAI according to the selected functions. OpenAI Privacy Policy.
- Ultralytics / YOLO: Optional Virtual Hub image recognition processes camera frames with a local model. According to Ultralytics, its library may send anonymized usage and crash data by default; the actual runtime configuration should be checked separately. Ultralytics Privacy Policy.
6. Rights and complaints
Under the GDPR, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact living.grow.controllers@gmail.com to exercise them. You may complain to a data-protection authority, including Spain's AEPD.

Safety notes
Project and technical information
GrowBro is a development project. Concept images explain ideas; screenshots show specific development states. Features, supported hardware and downloads can change. Climate, VPD, DLI and measurement information is technical guidance, not a promise of any plant or harvest result.
Plant images and lawful use
GrowBro is a software platform for observing, analysing and controlling plant environments. Plant images, including the YOLO example, serve technical development and documentation of image analysis. The YOLO view shown is an archive concept view, not a current detection or health diagnosis.
GrowBro does not offer, sell or broker cannabis, seeds, cuttings or other controlled substances and does not promote their purchase, consumption or distribution. The software and connected hardware must be used in accordance with the laws applicable where they are used. Showing a plant does not grant permission to cultivate, possess or distribute it.
Electricity, water and devices
GPIO and wiring plans are references for a particular build. Check pin assignments, module voltage, current draw, polarity and protective measures on the real hardware before connection. Mains voltage and safety-critical installation work belongs with qualified professionals. Incorrect wiring, water, heat or unsuitable components can cause damage.
Use and external services
Users must observe local rules on plant cultivation, radio devices and electrical installations. External sites and downloads are subject to their operators' terms. Please report incorrect or unlawful content to living.grow.controllers@gmail.com.
Mandatory legal rights and liability are unaffected by these notes.
